We've been invited to take one Wahine and one Tāne team to Australia to compete against the Queensland Indigenous Invitational team! This is an open age group (adult) team.

Where: Gold Coast, Australia
When: September 5-9, 2024
Cost: $550.00 per player
Pre-requisite: Must have played at the 2024 National Māori Tournament

Expression of interest: Email us at maoribasketball@gmail.com by Friday 5 April. Each team will be comprised of 10 players.

Sport and haka shine at Māori Basketball Association tournament​​​​​​​

Te Ao Māori once again answered the call of Te Arawa waka and the Māori Basketball Association with 407 teams and more than 4000 players and whāau supporters participating in the Māori Basketball national tournament held at Rotorua between January 22 and 27.
